Michael Jeffrey Jordan is one of the most well-known basketball players. Who doesn’t know him?. Young basketball players look up to him. He is an inspiration to many fans out there.  Jordan has played around 15 seasons in the NBA (NBA is also known as National Basketball Association. All the professional men play basketball in NBA). He has won six championships with the Chicago Bulls

He was born on 17th Feb 1963 in Brooklyn, New York. His parents were simple people with simple jobs. His father’s name is James R. Jordan, Sr and his mother’s name is Deloris. His parents had five children. He was the fourth child the five they had. His father was murdered on 23rd July 1993.

Jordan has achieved a lot in his life. He started his career in 1984. He owns the Charlotte Homets of the NBA. Michael was just 33 when he retired. No one saw this coming. On March 1995, Michael was back and like always won. Again, in 1998 Jordan announced that he is retiring. Later, the same year he owned Washington Wizards. He was back at the game in 2001 but retired in 2003. Since then he didn’t play in the NBA. He won three consecutive NBA chamionships. His net worth is around 210 crores USD in this year, 2020.

Michael Jordan’s personal life: 

Michael Jordan married Juanita Vanoy in September. Sadly they filed for divorce in June 2006. They married in 1989. Juanita and Michael had three children together, they are Jeffrey who is 31 years old, Marcus who is 29 years old and Jasmine who is 27 years old. Jeffrey and Marcus are basketball players just like their dad.

Later, Jordan married Yvette Prieto in 2013. The couple have two children together, Ysabel Jordan who is six years old and Victoria Jordan who is also six years old.
