Lost In space is an American sci-fi series based on the 1965 show of the same name and the book The Swiss Family Robinson by Johann David Wyss. It is a Netflix original created by Irwin Allen.

One of the main features of the series is its spectacular special effects and music.

Lost in Space Season 3 Release Date

Season one of Lost In Space was released on April 13, 2018 and quickly became famous amongst sci-fi fans.  Although there were mixed opinions on the season, it became one of Netflix’s top series.

Season two was released on 24 December, 2019 and got a rating of 75% on Rotten Tomatoes.

On March 9, 2020, Netflix officially announced that there will be a third season of the show which will also be the final one. Although there has been no offical update on thre release date, season 3 was expected to release mid-2021 but might be pushed to December 2021 due to the current pandemic which has halted production of all series and films.

Season 3 of Lost In Space will feature Molly Parker as Maureen Robinson, Toby Stephens as John Robinson, Taylor Russell as Judy Robinson, Maxwell Jenkins as Will Robinson, Mina Sundwall as Penny Robinson, Parker Posey as Dr. Smith, Ignacio Serricchio as Major Don West and JJ Feild as Ben Adler among others.

Lost in Space Season 3 Plot

Lost In Space is about the The Robinsons, a family of space colonists who are stranded on a mysterious alien planet fighting for their lives with danger and amusement at every turn.

Season two ends with The Robinson family separated. Season 3 will revolve around individual characters and their adventures and stories and about finding and uniting with each other. Now that the kids are stranded alone without their parents, it would be exciting to see how their characters develop. The writers have promised an amazing ending to the story.

There have been various theories on the Internet on how Season 3 could be all about. Some about The Robinsons rejoining,  some are about then being stranded and away from each other for life and some even support the non-speaking robot to emerge as the hero. Nonetheless, the final season of this magnificent show is going to leave it’s viewers with a range of emotions from happiness to excitement and tears .
