The ‘Lord of Rings’ has a history since 2003. There are 3 successful and massive hit film series already released years ago. People always wanted and asked for 4th film. But the team said that they are not going to make another film.
Many fans were disappointed back then but took themselves up and moved on until when Amazon revealed another news. And that news caught everyone, Amazon planned for television series based on that very same novel which is with the same name by J R Tolkien.

The Lord of Rings is returning as television series and is developed by J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay. They announced it months ago and also started production.
But due to the unexpected Pandemic Coronavirus, the production was paused and delayed. When they are going to start again it still couldn’t be predicted.
As of now, we got confirmation from the team, so we can breathe peacefully hoping for the series.
Expected Plot and predictions:
As the series is based on Novel, we can imagine what are we going to watch. The series deals with the events set before the events in the film series. We will see the second age of Middle Earth. And we will also see the younger self of previous characters as we assume.

As the production is on hold and unaware when it will resume, we can’t assume its arrival as we and the team expected. Anyway, Amazon didn’t give us a date but confirmed they will release sometime in 2021. So, it will be released in 2021 for sure.
